Welcome to the Heartbreak Café website...

Heartbreak Café is a book series that was written by Janet Quin-Harkin in the late 80's/early 90's. It contained six books in total.

The books follow Debbie Lesley, Joe Garbarini and a host of café regulars.

Debbie is a girl who is used to hanging out with the country club set. After her parents divorce she is forced to get a job at the Heartbreak to pay for her car. Joe is the manager at the café, owned by his grandfather, while he is not at school.

The books focus mainly on the romantic relationship between Debbie and Joe, who initially don't get along and their adventures with the regulars at the café Ashley, Art, Howard and Pam. 

I loved these as a girl, (I always have liked a bit of romance!) so was really excited when I found them on Amazon. I HAD to order them! Any worries I had about them not living up to my memory of them quickly fell by the wayside when I re-read them, they were just as good as I remembered and I literally couldn't put them down. They were really well written with great characters and stories.
